Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with Apricot Designs you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.  These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 

PRICING AND PAYMENT

  1. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time however customers will always be charged the current price at the time of placing their order or offered a lower price if applicable.

  2. A 50% deposit is required when placing an order with us.  This deposit is non-refundable.

  3. The final balance is payable upon acceptance of the proofs and before manufacturing of your order.  Your order will not be delivered until the remaining payment has been received.

PROOFING

  1. A "proof" is an electronic file in "pdf" format, that shows the text to be printed, in the customer's chosen font. Almost all computers can automatically read pdf files, without the user needing to install any software. However, in the unlikely event of this not being the case, you can download Acrobat Reader for free.

  2. Once your order has been placed a proof will be sent to you for your approval. Please check all details thoroughly, particularly spellings of names and dates, then sign and return by fax or post to the address indicated on the proof as quickly as possible to avoid any delay to the printing time.

  3. If changes are made after your acceptance of the proofs, charges may be incurred.

  4. Any reprinting required due to errors that you failed to identify before signing off the proofs will be chargeable.

DELIVERY

  1. All items, unless otherwise specified, are sent by Royal Mail special delivery.

  2. When you have agreed the final proof, the order will be printed and despatched within 21days.  We’ll advise you of the despatch date and ask you to confirm the delivery address. A signature will be required on delivery to provide proof of receipt.

  3. Apricot Designs is not liable for any loss or damage of goods once despatched.

  4. Apricot Designs will do everything possible to ensure the prompt dispatch and arrival of the order and we can not be held accountable for delays in the postage service.

CANCELLATION

  1. In the event of stationery order cancellation prior to proof approval, Apricot Designs will retain the 50% deposit.

  2. Cancelled orders following the approval of the final proof will have to be paid for in full.

  3. As all stationery orders are individually designed they are non-returnable.

     COPYRIGHT

  1. All designs are owned by Apricot Designs and are protected by copyright.  All rights reserved.

  2. Apricot Designs are free to use ideas or concepts from customers and are free to reproduce or adapt them for any purpose.

  3. In accessing www.apricotdesigns.co.uk you agree that you will access the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

  4. Please ensure that you own the rights to the pictures you submit for re-production and that you have obtained any relevant permission to use them in this way.  We will be unable to re-produce photographs for which you have not obtained the relevant consents.

  5. It is your responsibility to seek permission for the printing of copyrighted materials such as maps, hymns and readings.  The duration of copyright is generally in force for 70 years after the death of the author however many commonly used Christian songs are still within copyright. When placing an order with Apricot Designs that includes copyrighted material, we proceed on the assumption that you have already sought, and obtained, the necessary permission. You may need to make a payment to the copyright holder in order to secure this permission.  Please note that it is illegal to reproduce works without the permission of the copyright holder.

PRIVACY POLICY

  1. Apricot Designs does not share customer details with any other business. 

  2. We will use the customer’s personal details for internal accounting and marketing purposes and will not give or sell customer details to any third parties.

  1. www.apricotdesigns.co.uk includes links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others.

  2. Apricot Designs is not responsible for the content of external internet sites and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by us.
